Quebec City is not Sesame Street

It’s early. We are driving in the car for a long time and there are lots of Christmas trees. How did the clouds get in there?!

Please help me choose a Halloween costume

Anyone at all familiar with this blog should know that I will take any excuse I can to wear a costume.

It’s almost that time of year where I actually have a reason, validated by a holiday AND candy to dress up.

I would love for your input on what I should wear this year.

Please let me know your thoughts.

Warm regards,

New discovery made on Canada’s easternmost point

I was very excited to visit Canada’s easterly most city, St. John’s, Newfoundland, filled with cliffs and colourful houses and more charm in its pinky fingertip than all the Pierce Brosnan movies in the world.

After a flight across the Atlantic, the first thing I needed was a decent babyccino. Better known for its lobsters than its lattes, the city delivered me a pleasant surprise in the form of my new favourite cafe.

Carousel by the sea + other important Brighton highlights

I was so happy to spend a day in Brighton with my mum and a friend – between the palace, the pier and the carousel on the pebbled beach, the 15-degree summer temperatures *almost* went unnoticed ;)
