Race to find a cure for a rare illness

On 3 February 2013 Jai is participating in Australia’s largest ocean swim – go Jai!

Jai is 15 and has Friedreich’s Ataxia, a rare disease that causes progressive damage to the nervous system, resulting in muscle weakness, diabetes and heart disease. His friends and family have joined together to ask people to lend him some muscle.

I have solicited the assistance of my mum’s knitted silverback gorilla since we all know how strong they are :)

You can help Jai raise awareness and funds by snapping a pic of you flexing, sharing it on his Facebook page and with your friends, and donating here. All Jai’s proceeds are going to the Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Association to help find a cure.

YAY JAI!
